Here I have all possibilities in one program, and so I decided to change.Īnd there come then these phantastic videos and courses of VFX-Study in my sight. The music for these film write I myself.Īll works fine with the above programs, but often I have a special wish for a special Titel or effect, and there comes DaVinci to me. Mostly nature films, landscapes, etc, often from my travels of hiking around germany and europa. Motion 5, worked with it since several years, I make so called “Dia-Filme” (in german, therefore also my poor englisch), short videos with a lot of photos and some included videos, I’m a beginner in working with DaVinci Resolve. I find that it is valuable to go back to both courses, using them as reminders and reference material. This new Fusion course is better suited to my level and my needs (I do titling and image modifications more than advanced compositing), but I recommend the other course as well.īernd is such a fine teacher that he can lead you into areas you would probably struggle to explore on your own. I also enjoyed Bernd’s more advanced compositing course, though parts of it were difficult (appropriately) and parts covered procedures I will not need to do soon. It’s often worth exploring what happens if you vary from the exact path he’s laid out, to more fully understand his recommendations. Definitely follow along doing the procedures as he describes them. The assigned exercises are well chosen and valuable to do. He shows his thinking as he begins to solve a problem. You always hear why you are taking the steps you are taking, and Bernd routinely discusses costs and benefits of different methods. I am relatively new to Davinci and benefitted greatly from this course. This course focuses on Fusion, but you learn a lot about Davinci more broadly. It offers a great introduction to Fusion’s uses and power, but goes well beyond basics while keeping the material clear and accessible.
